Our major client is seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant to oversee all of the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department. Including the preparation of accurate and meaningful monthly financial reports for both internal and external use and supervising a team of three.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly reports (including P&L, balance sheet, actual to budget expenditure)
- Maintenance of financial accounting and general ledger systems
- Cost centre accounting
- Preparation of financial returns required by statutory authorities, including payroll tax, FBT and BAS, stamp duty
- Maintenance of fixed asset ledger
- Liaise with financial institutions, external auditors, government departments regarding operational issues
- Complete ad-hoc tasks as requested by the GM Finance
Youwill have a strong knowledge of accounting and taxation in addition with solid experience of the functions mentioned above.
