-Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, together with 8-10 years practical experience.

You will be responsible for the preparation of group taxation returns including IAS, FBT, BAS and the consolidated group tax return. Group tax effect accounting entries, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations of tax balances of group entities is also required. You will monitor changes in taxation legislation, identify impacts on the Group and utilise your intitiative with regard to continuous improvements, providing input into major transactions and strategic decisions, and monitoring risk. Management of tax audits and liaison with external advisors will also be part of your role.
We are seeking an individual who is CA/CPA or similarly qualified and is able to demonstrate the required technical knowledge to perform this role including tax consolidations.
