Our client, a leading and highly successful software company, is currently looking for Helpdesk / Desktop Support Engineer to join their IT team.
This is initially a 2 week contract to start ASAP. After the 2 weeks, there is the potential that this position may be made permanent.
This position as Helpdesk / Desktop Support Engineer will see you support users Australia wide - providing phone, e-mail, remote and on-site support.
Other duties include:
- Setting up new equipment
- Resolving hardware and software faults
- Administering users accounts, permissions and mailboxes
- Installing and supporting Windows based applications
Skills required:
- Windows XP Pro
- Microsoft Office 2003
- Exchange 2000/2003 mailbox administration
- TCP/IP networking
- Broadband DSL technology
