Essential Requirements:
- Current Forklift License
- Experienced machine operator
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- High level of motivation and enthusiasm
- High Level of communication and written skills
Key responsibilites of the role will include:
- Produce parts following sequential information
- Operate tyre and wheel assembly machines
- Manual handling of parts and feeding to conveyors
- Line feeding and replenishment of small parts
- Quality inspection
- Operate manual tyre mounter and manual wheel balances
- Operate a Forklift
- Use of scanners
- Maintain machine cleanliness

We have a vacancy for a machine operator with machine operation experience.

Full specific machine training will be given for this specialized role.
Duties will include:
- Set up the extruder machine.
- Threading the small inner wires into the machine.
- Threading the outer casing and starting the run.
- Checking and adjusting as required throughout each run.
- General machine maintenance and upkeep.
Hours of work are 7.00am - 3.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am -1.00pm Friday.
The position is classified as C11 Metal Industry - $19.15 per hour (Casual).
This is an on-going casual position which will lead to full time after a successful probationary period.

A fork hoist license and overhead crane experience would be an advantage. Some manual handling of our product is required, so you will need to be physically fit.
