We are seeking people who are looking for well paid, permanent position who will be required to undertake work in the remote areas of South Australia as a Field Technician.

Whilst working out in the field, you will be assisting exploration geologists take samples in the form of bags, rock chips, mud samples or drill core. You will be instructed by the geologist exactly and be responsible to ensure the samples are labeled, stored effectively. You may also be required to take surface samples or assist in surveys of geophysical equipment.
You will also be required to manage the day to day running of the field camp whilst out on project. This would require such tasks as maintaining field equipment, with such equipment as generators, submersible water pumps and vehicles.

This position it will be required that you have the following:
- Car licence and being able to drive a manual vehicle
- General mechanical/maintenance knowledge
- Basic computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
It is important that you:
- Be able to work in remote areas and stay in different types of field accommodation
- Be able to be away from Adelaide for extended periods of time
It would be advantageous that you would also possess the following skills:
- First aid certificate
- Forklift licence
- Truck licence
- Motorbike licence
- 4WD/offroad driving experience
