This is a great opportunity for a vibrant professional with hands-on experience in OH&S. This dynamic and challenging role exists for a motivated individual to display their exceptional Safety skills. This role will drive a positive safety culture throughout the Geelong site whilst managing and improving the Safety obligations for Patrick employees, contractors and clients. Your focus will be to ensure compliance throughout the business and improve current processes.

In this role, you will advise, motivate and support line managers and supervisors in OHS best practise standards. You will also be responsible for implementing a range of OHS programs in the business.

Your core responsibilities include:
- Provide advice to management regarding current regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing programs, procedures, training and plans to ensure compliance
- Conducting and scheduling site audits/observations to verify safety systems are applied and identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage employee rehabilitation
- Conduct incident investigations
- Ensure contractors are meeting there obligation
- Coordinate the OHS Committee

Essential skills include:
- Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety
- The ability to clearly communicate and articulate Safety goals and visions at all levels
- minimum 2 years OHS experience
- Sound computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
