Technical Support

Our client requires Technical Support for two particular days this month. The schedule is as follows:

Saturday:
You will patch/repatch cables in the comms room, disjoin current domain from the computer, and verify/check Altiris icon installed or visible in the taskbar.

Monday:
Resource is required to support users from a day to day desktop troubleshooting to patching of network cable in the comms room.

Hardware
Variety of HP, Dell, and IBM desktops and laptops - majority will be IBMs.

Software
Windows XP, Office 2003 suite, In house apps (R2, Axis), IE

Other

- Install/configure printers (local and network)
- Repatching of cables in the comms (imperative knowledge – network connectivity is our top priority)
- Some knowledge in communication devices (Telstra modem, ADSL cisco modem)

Our client is in the online/digital industry. Due to growth within the company they are looking for a motivated individual to take on the role of a Technical Support/Customer Service Officer. Someone with a passion for the web and technology would be ideal – as you will just love this role!
