My client is seeking an experienced switched on mid level test analyst for a 6 month contract. You willl be part of a cohesive team and will be working on a large scale replacement project. You must be highly competent in both systems and integration testing. The ideal applicant will have had previous experience in both manual and automation testing.
Key responsibilities:
- Testing the new management system in accordance with prepared test scripts
- Adhering to policies, procedures and standards set by the management team
- Develop test plans, test cases, scenarios, and execute scripts against documented business, user and functional requirements
- Competently utilise testing tools and related technologies.
- Liaise with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
The successful candidate wil possess the following experience:
- 4+ years testing experience, ideally from a technical background
- Demonstrated practical experience working as a test analyst working in a corporate environment involving multiple applications, systems and technologies
- Demonstrated research analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyse data, produce reports and statistical information
- Self motivated
- You must be able to create test scripts and test plans
- Mercury Quality centre experience, Winrunner & Load runner

You will be able to develop Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, Test Scripts and create the Testing Infrastructure.

You will have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the testing lifecycle
- Comprehensive knowledge and sound practical experience testing web applications
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in both technical and business domains
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to analyse business and technical documentation to produce detailed test plans and test cases and provide feedback to the relevant authors
- An ability to recognise and communicate defects effectively to the correct audience
- Familiarity with XML and⁄or Oracle databases, web based applications and the MS Office suite
- A proactive and flexible approach to work and a proven ability to manage workloads
- Experience using automated test processes at both the system and user interface levels
