Voice Engineer

My client seeks a Voice Engineer to join their team to work across BAU support and project activity where necessary. As a Voice Services Officer you are expected to provide a high level of customer service, professionalism and expertise to nominated clients for the support, maintenance and management of their PABX, Key Voice Systems and other Voice Technology. This will vary from client to client, however typically responsibilities include:
PABX and Key Systems support - including management of all CPE (Customer Premises Equipment); Key Systems - AVAYA - Definity SI PABX, NEC NEAX 2400SDS & LG Aria 186
- Voice cabling management;
- Mobile telephone support including procurement of hardware;
- Off-site and (rostered) on-call support services;
- Commissioning and decommissioning of customer’s telephony services including invoice verification;
- SLA Performance reporting;
- Vendor and Third Party Management and
- Documentation of all processes and procedures used to perform the above duties in a consistent, repeatable and reliable fashion, with an emphasis on sustainable service delivery in a team environment.
- As a member of a managed services delivery team, you contribute proactively to maintaining a high-energy, positive, proactive and productive team environment.
- To be successful and considered for this role, it is essential that you have a minimum of 12 - 18 mths experience working for an enterprise organisation, as a PABX/Voice support officer. You must have an excellent understanding of Voice/CPE products and it is ‘ESSENTIAL’ that you are able to obtain the relevant Security Clearance required to perform this role or have had security clearance previoiusly as this will be working across a major federal government account. Excellent communications skills are essential for this role, due to wokring with high profile government clients.
